‘Muttina Pallakki’ Kannada cinema went on the floor at Sri Srinivasa Temple next Mahalakshmi Layout Anjaneya temple on ‘Mahalaya Amavasya’ day – the team headed by MD Kaushik went to Shivaganga Hills for 12 days schedule.

The film ‘MP’ based on Keshavareddy Handral novel ‘Pancharangi’ has a very bold dashing role for sweet looking Gauthami Gowda. As an ordinary village girl the female protagonist reaches the top and lands up as a prominent personality in Mumbai. Ranadheer son of producer and financier Kamalakar is in his third film as hero. He plays a soldier in this film. When returns to his village several developments touches his heart.

MD Kaushik with two films in the cans ‘Sanjeyalli Aralida Hoovu’ and ‘Niguda Rahasya’ is crossing his budget of Rs.20 lakhs for this film. It is double what he has aimed earlier. That is because of producer Kamalakar = he wanted good artists and told him not to worry on the remuneration part.

Kaushik had done a children film ‘Budda Maththu Swatantra’ that is based on Handral short novel and in this film ‘Muttina Pallakki’ he is taking the liberty of changing the climax of the novel ‘Pancharangi’. It is all about ‘Patrikodyama, Sainya and Dharma’ tucked in this film.

Prakash Yogi of Sarala Samruddi Yoga is playing the role of Yoga exponent in this film. Thejas known for Juggling and magic is performing in this film. Manvi and Mrudula are child actors. Dr Sunder Raj is playing village chieftain with rebel image.

Pawan Sharma is giving aerial expertise for this film. Keshava Reddy Handral was present at the media briefing said he wrote this novel in 1986 and got the revolutionary tag from literary circle. Handral works in the Income Tax department.

Gauri Venkatesh is cameraman, Vardhan is scoring music for this film. Dr Nagaraj is co producer.
